| How did this episode manage to have this much quality in its animation even if it only adapted around 50% of the chapter it was based from? Just how? It's mind-boggling, but it was such a friggin' amazing episode, holy moley! Those trio from the Worst Generation... They fought against the fodder then destroyed the fodder ship and yet the three of them won't stop bickering on who among them sank the enemy ship, lol... That was some overwhelming movie-quality animation! I loved every second of it. First time I witnessed that epic display of skillsets from this episode, I was in so much awe that I had tears falling from my eyes due to the sheer awesomeness of this spectacular animation! I cannot handle this much awesomeness in the animation department and I sure wish the rest of the upcoming episodes for the Onigashima raid will have this much "Over the Top" animation quality! No pun intended My gosh.... I'm having goosebumps.... |
| Raizo snaked Kinemon's side, so now Denjiro has snaked Orochi's side. The animation sequence of the new generation destroying that boat was on point too. Beautiful colouring and overall artwork. |

| Why do these bums always have so much confidence? They are up against 3 top tier fighters and they are just some bums that have ZERO chance of winning.. bragging that they have Kaido + big mom? But these 2 aint even there.. these guys should be running for the lives the moment they saw who their opponents were. I love One Piece but I hate when they make moments like this. |

| The animation in the end was some of the best One Piece has ever had and the use of the instrumental version of Over the top was also a 5/5 music choice. And then Denjiro arriving to the battle and attacking the enemy was just perfection. |

| And just like that a 20 years old long running series drops one of the most impressive action sequence of the year if not of the entire series for a battle against litteral fodders. This is the very first action scene of Onigashima. What a time to be alive. |

| This was really a good ep. The animation was superb when the trio from the worst generation was destroying one of Kaido's ships, especially Luffy's scene. Very funny to see a quarrel between these three. Looks like it's hard for them to get on the same term. Their quarrel is very similar to the one between Zoro and Sanji. LOL. Also, nice to see Kyoshiro, a.k.a. Denjiro. Glad to see him back among the Akazaya nine (actually Akazaya eight since Kanjuro is a spy). It's gonna be good to see Denjiro back with his team. |

Also funny that this episode merely adapted 9 pages. 50 % of the ep. was flashbacks and intro/outro, so it makes sense that only half a chapter was adapted. That's really cheap. Toei has the "amazing" ability to use less and less materials in their eps. |

| I'm already in love with what's about to come. Everyone looks so badass my god. I'm so glad Luffy decided to wear that black pirate jacket instead of the samurai armor. I knew the Sunny was extremely resilient but not even multiple bombs were able to scratch surprised me a lot. It always so much fun to see the interaction between Luffy, Law and Kid. All of them are so different character wise that it won't get boring at any point. The animation for the action scenes looked so damn good and honestly caught me off guard because I didn't expect that so early on. I guess when we're at the "real" fight I will cry for joy :D Oh boy it will be exciting to see the reaction of everyone when Kiyoshiro finally reveals his true identity. Nice ship cut btw. |

Nice vibrant animation in this ep, Luffy, Law and Kid was only competing but no mere no-named small fries can even halt their little competition. |

| Wtf of an episode, the fight scenes were awesome. The plan of the ships and bridges was already shown, they’re not defeated, just without ways to get there. The scene of the destroyed ship was awesome, something I’m curious about is Kid’s power, if he right now is at Luffy and Law’s level, just watch how Law elevates a complete ship hahaha. Luffy noticed something strange with Kanjuro, for a second, maybe he realized it by now. I liked how everyone got cautious with Kyoshiro’s arrival, but he’s an ally in the end and wtf with his strength, seems like the stronger of the nine. |

| Well they sure did a lot of talking in this episode. That animation near the end though. I expect more of that soon. Luffy and the others arguing reminds me of the first time those 3 met, they were also arguing when they were fighting the navy in Sabaody Archipelago. |
