Hello, FastCube,

First, please archive your User talk page. You have almost 300 discussion threads here which means any editors who visit here using a mobile device will find their device crashing as it tries to load your user page.

Second, PLEASE do not empty out existing categories and create new ones that have almost identical category page titles. It's important to keep the page history of the original categories. Instead go to WP:CFD and propose a rename of the old categories, either through a full CFD nomination or use Speedy renames. It's not important who created the category, it's just silly to recreate categories that only slightly differ from the original category in their category page title. I'd appreciate it if you could do this in the future. After you archive your talk page though! Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:18, 2 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Done the archive. And the empty categories are always being redeveloped as new subcategories/articles enter them by me asap. I'm doing this, because there are far too many cluttered association football categories, they should be expanded into more specific ones (an English women's league going from "women's leagues" to "European women's leagues") so these categories aren't just stuffed with hundreds of pages. This doesn't have to do with renaming or me trying to create similar naming ones, it's just about expanding them.
With the small categories, yes there may be some with one subcategory/article (e.g. Category:1983–84 in European women's association football leagues) which normally wouldn't appear as necessary because of it only having one subcategory/article, but it exists because it relates to another season of that category (e.g. Category:2024–25 in European women's association football leagues) which is well composed; and to keep the lines complete in seasonal category navigation; like the "Template:Navseasoncats". The small categories exist because its related big categories exist. I would never expand/create more categories in something that should only be in a parent category; in order to save time on clicking another subcategory to get to that page, unless its to keep the "Navseasoncats" complete. A tag has been placed on Category:2025 in North American women's association football leagues indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 05:45, 5 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019–20 Adelaide United FC season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Simon Cox and Mohamed Toure.
