i First started watching these episodes On TV But they stoped airing so this episode was pretty familiair, Its still awesome to watch agian though
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
I know this a bit late to comment on, but I really am digging the new ED. It kinda sounds like early Brian Eno in a way. Anyways, even though it was kind of obvious who did it and how, it was still somehow entertaining. Not my favorite episode by a long shot, but still pretty enjoyable.
I love how Conan has not only negated the disadvantages of being 10 years younger, but has learned how to leverage it to his advantage. That was really pronounced in this episode.
Not the best case overall. It's a nice change of pace to know the murderer ahead of time, but only when the murder method itself is unknown (like the fashion designer episode).
Not a great case, knowing how he did it from the beginning. It was an interesting way to kill someone but it wasn't done right. Even finding the clues was simple. And he told them that he did it at the end, when that hair and litter was not conclusive. He probably would have gotten off saying that he took it home a couple of times or that it got tracked on him.
Easiest case so far, heck even the interrogation was lackluster. That said, it was an alright episode and you gotta feel a bit bad for the guy. Still shouldn't have murdered the boss even if he was a complete dick >_>
This is so exasperating — the murderer was clearly in the right, and while murder is of course not the best way to handle the grudge, that guy deserved karma for what he did (making a person depressed insofar as to make them suicide). Why are there no cases with killers that do it just for the sake of it? No psychopaths or terrible people in sight, just understandable revenge.
This may have been the easiest case yet though I hope there will be a few more (not many, the last two-parter was actually my favourite) episodes like this where we can't think too much about it because we already knew the culprit from the beginning. What made me like this episode is the message that technology should be our friend and not be used against other humans.
29th episode in my case is the second of the episodes with Kogoro Mori's university friends.
I love the interesting depictions of various mental illnesses in this anime, be they on purpose or not. Victim sounded extremely bipolar and you're torn between annoyment and sympathy towards her.
Also love the subtle plot twist that Kogoro Mori actually has skills. This is the first episode, in which my hunch manifested that he is somewhere on the neurodiversity spectrum in the direction of ADHD. Not a full-fledged theory, but it would explain a lot of his quirks and shortcomings, if one ignores the fact, that he usually serves as the comical relief.
Speaking of that, I love how this episode took him and his feelings more serious than most of the others. I hope this will become a recurring theme. Especially love how even Conan had to realize the gravity of the situation, and respected him enough to let him work at his own pace.
